INSTRUCTIONS:
- NOTE: The right Leg Strap has the Sports Stride logo on it and must be worn on the right leg. Place Leg Straps on a flat surface in front of you. The Buckles on the two Leg Straps should be facing outwards, away from each other (fig1).
- Select your Power Bands based on your desired level of resistance (Yellow = Youth / Green = Beginner & Warm-up / Purple = Advanced / Black = Max).
Important: The green bands are for beginners and if you can stride as if you were not wearing the bands, you should move up to the Advanced/ purple Power Bands. You will quickly develop enough leg strength to wear at least one purple band (preferably in the back). With average use the bands will last about three years.
- Attach both Power Bands to the Right Leg Strap by squeezing Buckle (Spring Clasp) and inserting the metal rings. Release Buckle to lock end of Power Band into place.
- Attach Right Leg Strap by holding it securely in place on the side of the right leg, about 1/2 to 1 inch above the knee, making sure the Buckle is on the outside of leg (fig1).
- While holding Leg Strap securely in place - firmly pull loose end of Right Leg Strap up and around the knee, tucking excess under the Velcro snugly (fig2). Leg Strap should fit tightly but remain comfortable, about 1/2 to 1 inch above the knee. Repeat for Left Leg Strap.
- With both Leg Straps securely strapped onto legs, hold knees together and attach front Power Band to the front Buckle on the Left Leg Strap (fig3). Reach behind and attach remaining Power Band to the Left Leg Strap rear Buckle. Results should be similar to fig 4.
- Adjust Leg Strap positon until comfortable. To get maximum results, ensure Leg Straps are not placed too high above knees.
